Welcome to NBCEPA

This group was created in 2001 in the basement of Ed Hoyt, an advocate for Equal Parenting after divorce. In 2001, he traveled throughout Canada meeting with fellow advocates and politicians trying to change laws and societal beliefs on how parenting should be.

If you believe that parents should not have the right to destroy relationships of mothers, fathers and extended families please join our group to voice your opinion, everyone's opinions are allowed.

Any personal attacks on ex's or use of profanity will be automatically deleted from postings.

NBCEPA also promotes Equal Parenting Week.

OUR VISION:

We will change the legal and social attitudes to promote shared parenting and formal equality.

OUR MISSION:

(1) To promote public awareness, provide education and support programs in parenting for children, their families and the total community.

(2) To perform research relating to separated families, children and their social environment.

(3) To establish and provide support programs for parents and children.

(4) To support the educational, social and recreational activities of the community.

OUR VALUES, PHILOSOPHY AND PRINCIPLES:

(1) NBCEPA will maintain focus on our vision and mission.

(2) We are respectful of the societal norms and laws.

(3) We are a moderate, non-violent vehicle for change.

(4) We will conduct our behaviour with integrity and credibility.

(5) We value the talents of our individual members and recognise that success lies with the group.

NBCEPA will continue to be a moderate group that is inclusive of gender, all races, colours, creeds and denominations.We are dedicated to promoting:

• An unbiased image of fatherhood and motherhood,

• Shared and equal parenting, and

• Preserving the rights of our children, and future children, to a complete relationship with both parents and their extended families.
